Starting somewhere new can feel intimidating.
For many people, joining a gym isn’t the difficult part.
The difficult part is walking through the door for the first time.
Questions start racing through your mind.
What if everyone is fitter than me?
What if I don’t know what I’m doing?
What if I can’t keep up?
What if I embarrass myself?
If you’ve ever had those thoughts, you’re not alone.
In fact, most of our members felt exactly the same way before they joined.
The good news is that your first session at Infinite Change Fitness is designed to make you feel comfortable, supported and confident from the moment you arrive.
Here’s exactly what you can expect.
Step 1: A Friendly Welcome
The first thing you’ll notice is that we’re not a typical gym.
You won’t walk into a room full of hundreds of people wearing headphones and avoiding eye contact.
We’re a small coaching community where people know each other’s names and genuinely support one another.
When you arrive, one of our coaches will greet you, introduce themselves and show you around the studio.
We’ll answer any questions you have and help you settle in before the session begins.
Step 2: We Get to Know You
Before worrying about exercises or workouts, we want to understand you.
We’ll discuss:
- Your goals
- Previous exercise experience
- Any injuries or medical considerations
- What you enjoy
- What you’ve struggled with in the past
This helps us ensure the session is appropriate for your current fitness level.
There’s no pressure to perform.
Our job is to meet you where you are today.
Step 3: Learn the Basics
Many people worry they’ll be expected to lift heavy weights immediately.
That’s not how we work.
Your first session focuses on learning movement patterns safely and confidently.
We’ll guide you through exercises such as:
- Squats
- Hinges
- Pushes
- Pulls
- Core exercises
Our coaches demonstrate each movement and provide individual feedback throughout the session.
Technique always comes before intensity.
Step 4: Work at Your Own Pace
One of the biggest misconceptions about small group training is that everyone must do exactly the same thing.
Not at Infinite Change.
Every exercise can be adapted based on your ability, experience and confidence level.
Some members may be lifting heavier weights.
Others may be learning the movement for the first time.
Both are progressing.
Both are succeeding.
The goal isn’t to keep up with someone else.
The goal is to improve compared to where you started.
Step 5: Leave Feeling Accomplished
Most first-time visitors leave saying the same thing:
“That wasn’t nearly as scary as I expected.”
You don’t need to be exhausted.
You don’t need to collapse on the floor.
You don’t need to prove anything.
You simply need to complete a great session and take the first step towards becoming stronger and healthier.
What Makes Infinite Change Different?
We built Infinite Change Fitness for people who don’t feel comfortable in traditional gyms.

Your Future Self Will Thank You
Every member who trains with us had a first session.
Every member felt nervous.
Every member wondered if they could do it.
The difference is that they decided to start anyway.
Months later, they’re stronger, fitter and more confident because they took that first step.
The hardest part isn’t the workout.
It’s deciding to begin.
